According to the latest research report of CITIC Construction Investment, the domestic photovoltaic installed capacity exceeded expectations in January 2022, and the new photovoltaic installed capacity in the country exceeded 7GW, a year-on-year increase of 200%. Among them, the newly installed capacity of distributed photovoltaics was 4.5GW, a year-on-year increase of 250%; the newly installed capacity of centralized photovoltaics was 2.5GW, a year-on-year increase of 150%. 

Such excellent results are a huge improvement compared to the relatively deserted market in January of previous years. At the same time, it is also highly consistent with Wang Bohua, honorary chairman of the China Photovoltaic Industry Association, who expects that my country's newly installed photovoltaic capacity will be 75-90GW in 2022. 

Recently, photovoltaic companies have released 2021 performance reports, which boosted investor confidence. After the market exceeded expectations in the first quarter, it is foreseeable that the performance of the first quarter can basically maintain or even exceed the level of the fourth quarter of last year, and will achieve substantial growth compared with the first quarter of last year, becoming a "nuclear bomb" that detonated the secondary market. 

After entering the second quarter, the production capacity of upstream silicon materials will gradually be released, which will alleviate the current imbalance of supply and demand of silicon materials to a certain extent, and allow the photovoltaic industry to maintain a healthy development again. 

In addition, under the relatively tense international situation, in order to ensure their own energy supply, European and American countries will also promulgate policies to stimulate the development of new energy, especially photovoltaics. In 2022, photovoltaic companies are expected to make greater breakthroughs in overseas markets. 

Therefore, although it is only February, it can basically be predicted that 2022 will be the year when the photovoltaic industry continues to take off!
