Some people build careers far from home, but never stop carrying home in their hearts. A Ghanaian-born doctor practicing in the US spent years saving lives abroad, yet always dreamed of giving something back to the community where he grew up. That dream became a hospital in his hometown—and to keep its power stable, he chose solar.
The project initially used a locally common L-foot mounting system. Soon after installation, the corrugated metal roof began to leak.
For a hospital, a leak is not a small issue. It can disrupt care, damage equipment, and quietly wear down the very goodwill that built the place.
The client came to us for a waterproof solution. We didn’t rush to quote. We first checked the roof rib dimensions, then recommended a clamp-based mounting system that protects the roof waterproof layer while keeping the panels secure.
Six months later: the 230kW hospital rooftop solar system is running well—and the roof is dry.
His kindness gave the hospital a source of power. Our job was to make sure that power stayed safe, dry, and reliable for the people who need it most.
Good intentions deserve good details.
