The National Energy Administration released the construction and operation status of photovoltaic power generation in the first three quarters of 2023. According to the data, in the first three quarters of 2023, the country's newly installed photovoltaic capacity was 128.94 million kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of 145%, including 61.80 million kilowatts of centralized photovoltaics and 67.14 million kilowatts of distributed photovoltaics. As of the end of September 2023, the country's installed photovoltaic power generation capacity reached 520 million kilowatts, including 295 million kilowatts of centralized photovoltaics and 225 million kilowatts of distributed photovoltaics.
The top five provinces with newly installed capacity are: Henan with 10.73 million kilowatts, Shandong with 9.587 million kilowatts, Jiangsu with 9.143 million kilowatts, Hubei with 8.834 million kilowatts, and Xinjiang with 8.824 million kilowatts.
