According to the Wall Street Journal, the US won't impose new tariffs on solar products within two years. The Financial Associated Press said the US will allow the import of photovoltaic modules（(solar panels, photovoltaic brackets, inverters, etc.) from Southeast Asia.

On June 2, Deputy U.S. Trade Representative Sarah Bianchi said the Biden administration is considering "all options" to assess possible changes in U.S. tariffs on Chinese imports, including tariff relief and new trade investigations, seeking to solve long-term challenge from China and get a really reasonable tariff structure.

Sarah Bianchi also said that USTR reinstates 352 tariff exemptions on specific products, which up to 25%. This policy has slowed China's tariffs to some extent. With more than 140 members of Congress calling for an expanded list, USTR is conducting a statutory four-year review of Section 301 tariffs, and collecting opinions from industry participants in two batches, which will end on July 5 and August 22.

US President Biden said he was considering rolling back some of the tariffs that former President Trump imposed on hundreds of billions of dollars worth of Chinese goods in 2018 and 2019. The Biden administration is looking for ways to ease inflation, and industry has called for cuts Tariffs to reduce costs for businesses and consumers.

It is worth mentioning that the market has also continued to fluctuate due to concerns that the United States has initiated anti-circumvention investigations against photovoltaic manufacturers in Southeast Asia, but the concerns of relevant agencies on this issue have also declined recently. At present, the market believes that the situation in July and August may become clearer, and the worst case may be a symbolic 5% to 15% tariff, or no tariff on photovoltaic product（solar panel, solar mounting racks) at all.
