The results of the program after the application ended at the end of last year showed that the number of applicants and the number of qualified people were not large, and the total power was about 3 megawatts (MW), while the government’s private solar energy program had a target power of 100 megawatts (MW). Therefore, in this year’s plan, the government put forward a policy of increasing the proportion of electricity purchased. This policy should increase the attractiveness to a certain extent, because its price is higher than the production cost of solar rooftop power, which is about 1.85 baht per unit.
